Invoir

Terms of service

Plain terms for a plain service. By using the validator, the API or an API key you agree to them.

Last updated 19 October 2026.

1. The service

Invoir provides an online e-invoice validator (validate.invoir.dev) and a REST API that checks Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung, Peppol BIS and EN 16931 invoices against the published rule sets of KoSIT, CEN, OpenPeppol and the Factur-X / ZUGFeRD specifications, plus PDF/A-3 conformance, and that generates such invoices as PDF and XML from JSON. It is operated by Miloš Moravac PR MoravacNET, Vojvode Stepe 275, 11010 Belgrade, Serbia (“we”). Contact: [email protected].

The service is offered to businesses, developers and other professionals for use in their trade or profession, not to consumers.

2. Accounts and API keys

An API key is issued to the email address that requested it. Keep it secret; anything done with it counts as done by you. If it leaks, revoke it in your dashboard and create a new one. You may sign up for one account per person or company. Calls made with a test key are free, never count against a plan and produce documents marked as test documents.

3. Plans, payment and refunds

Documents. Usage is counted in documents per calendar month (UTC), per account. One document is one invoice generated with POST /v1/invoices or one successful call to /validate or /extract. Failed requests and test-key calls don't count.

Free plan. 25 documents a month and files up to 10 MB. Beyond that the API answers 429 until the first of the next month. Limits may change; we announce changes to the free plan by email at least 30 days ahead.

Paid plans. The plans, their monthly prices, included documents and per-document rates for extra documents are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT. A subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Documents beyond the included amount are charged at the plan's per-document rate at the start of the following month, to the same payment method. Upgrades apply immediately and are charged pro rata; downgrades apply immediately and the difference is credited to the next renewal. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from the first renewal after the notice period.

Merchant of record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a plan you enter into a purchase contract with Paddle under Paddle's buyer terms; Paddle charges VAT where it applies, accepts VAT IDs for reverse charge, and issues the invoice for every payment. We never receive your card details.

Cancelling. You can cancel in the dashboard at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the paid month; then the account returns to the free plan and nothing more is charged. Extra documents used before the end are still billed.

Refunds. If you are not satisfied, email [email protected] within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription and we refund it in full, to the original payment method, through Paddle. Later renewals and charges for extra documents are not refundable, except where the law requires it or where the service was unavailable for a substantial part of the month, in which case we refund in proportion. Refund requests are answered within 5 business days.

Failed payments. If a renewal can't be collected, Paddle retries for up to 30 days and you keep your plan meanwhile; update your payment method in the dashboard. If the payment still fails, the account returns to the free plan.

4. Fair use

Don’t do anything that disrupts the service for others: no attempts to circumvent rate limits or quotas, no load testing without asking, no probing for vulnerabilities, no sharing one key between unrelated businesses. Don’t send content you are not allowed to process. We may suspend or revoke keys that break these rules, after contacting you where that is possible.

5. What a validation report is

A report tells you whether a file passes the rule sets named in it, at the versions named in it. It is technical information, not legal, tax or accounting advice. Passing does not guarantee that a particular recipient, platform or authority will accept the invoice, and failing does not mean the invoice is legally invalid. You remain responsible for your invoices.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available around the clock but offer no contractual uptime guarantee in this version of the service; see the refund rule above for substantial outages. We may change, pause or discontinue features. The API is versioned (/api/v1); breaking changes get a new version and advance notice by email.

7. Your data

How we handle data is described in the privacy policy. In short: files you send for validation are never stored; invoices you generate are kept for the period shown on the pricing page so you can download them again, then deleted; your email, hashes of your keys, your branding settings and usage counters are stored for as long as you have an account.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or data, or for decisions made on the basis of a validation report. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

9. Ending

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account in the dashboard, or ask us to by email; an active subscription is cancelled first. We may close accounts that are inactive for more than 12 months or that violate these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, the date at the top changes. Material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes go to the competent court in Belgrade, Serbia. Mandatory rules of data protection law that apply to you regardless of this choice are unaffected.
